Description
In 1822 Jacob Fredrik Ljunglöf, a German, began manufacturing Ettan Snus in Sweden. Ettan is one of Sweden’s best-selling snus brands and also Sweden’s oldest food product brand name. Ettan, which has kept its original taste, has a classic tobacco flavor with a short list of ingredients: tobacco, salt and water. Ettan Original Portion was launched in 1990 and Ettan White Portion was launched in 2006.
Claims
- Sweden is the largest Nordic market with about one million snuff users (or "snus" as it is called in Swedish). More than half of these are former smokers, with women accounting for slightly more than 10 percent of "snus" consumers.[1]
